The Rage model line-up boasts a range of high performance vehicles with power outputs from 40hp to 200hp – giving 3.5 second 0-60mph times and top speeds in excess of 125-mph. All machines have been rigorously tested by our own R&D team, and also by World Champion Racing and Rally Drivers, who are unanimous in offering their praise and approval of the performance and handling of our Rage Buggies on both tarmac and loose surfaces. . The Rage R40TA is the entry vehicle into the Rage lineup. Equally suitable as a private leisure vehicle or for the Corporate Hospitality market, where safety, reliability and strong performance are imperative, this 2 seater is incredibly fun and versatile.
The Rage R140T Buggy is perfect for the experienced driver looking for a fast, hard-core buggy with the ease of driving with an automatic gearbox. It is powered using the new 1050cc Yamaha engine from the latest Nytro FX snowmobile to create incredible performance including 140hp, 0-60MPH in 4 seconds and a top speed of 110MPH+
The Rage R200T Buggy is the ultimate Rage Buggy. More power than you can imagine, this machine will truly blow your mind. It is obvious at first glance that this is a Rage, but drive it and you will see that this is something even more special. It is powered using the engine from the ultra-fast Kawasaki ZX14 (ZZR1400) Motorcycle. The R200T gives incredible performance and will launch from 0-60MPH in 3 seconds and on to a top speed of over 125MPH. A sequential gear shifter operates a six speed gearbox.
The Rage RT Buggies begin life as the standard off-road buggies. Then they receive a complete lighting package, rims and tires for the tarmac, a horn and a couple other upgrades. The RT's arrive ready for you to hit the track. Their performance on the tarmac is unbelievable and has to be experienced to realize how capable they really are. Whether you prefer a sequential manual or automatic CVT, we've got you covered.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
ARE THERE ANY PASSENGER REQUIREMENTS?
Participants must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid state or government issued photo ID.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Dress for this activity is a sleeved shirt (short sleeves are ok, just no tank tops), long pants, and closed toed shoes (no Crocs or slip-ons). Because this event takes place in May, we understand it may be warm during the day at the event. You are welcome to bring a change of clothes and change before and after your session if you prefer.
DO I NEED A HELMET?
Yes, however if you do not have a helmet, loaner helmets will be available for you to use during your ride. If you'd like to wear your own helmet, it must be a SNELL SA2010 rated or newer helmet.
HOW MANY TIMES DO I GET TO GO ON TRACK?
Once. Each Rage Buggy ride-along consists of one (1) lap around the VIRginia International Raceway Rally Course. The ride will last approximately XXXX? minutes.
CAN I SIGN UP FOR MORE THAN ONE RIDE-ALONG?
Yes, you may sign up for more than one ride-along, in fact many do in order to experience the various models available for rides.
CAN I REQUEST A SPECIFIC DRIVER / buggy?
Unfortunately no. Due to the nature of the event, to ensure we stay on schedule, and give rides to everyone who signs up, we cannot guarantee which driver and/or buggy you will receive a ride from. When possible, we will try out best to accommodate you, but we simply can't promise it. We apologize for any inconvenience the may cause you, but assure you that all drivers are professionals, equally talented, and that you will have the utmost fun in any of their buggies.
CAN I USE MY PHONE / GOPRO TO RECORD THE RIDE?
Yes, however we ask that you do so with some hesitation. As much as you want to relive the excitement of the ride and show your friends later on, if you're too busy focusing on what you are recording, you will most likely end up missing the actual live experience of the ride.
After all that, if you still want to record your ride, we recommend that you have your phone or camera tethered with a leash or strap to ensure you don't drop it. Phones and cameras rarely escape the track in the same condition as when they left your hand. Also, selfie sticks are not allowed and we require that you keep your hands in the car at all times and do not block the driver's view while filming.

While we prefer warm and sunny days, it doesn't always happen to work out that way. Since the event is in May, showers have been known to make a brief appearance. Because HyperFEST is an outdoor event, we run rain or shine, but that doesn't mean you still can't have fun.
