Strap in and hold on, the rally rides are better than any roller coaster ride you have ever been on! The best part is you get to have fun in the dirt and you don't even have to clean up the mess.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
ARE THERE ANY PASSENGER REQUIREMENTS?
Participants must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid state or government issued photo ID.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Dress for this activity is a sleeved shirt (short sleeves are ok, just no tank tops), long pants, and closed toed shoes (no Crocs or slip-ons). Because this event takes place in May, we understand it may be warm during the day at the event. You are welcome to bring a change of clothes and change before and after your session if you prefer.
DO I NEED A HELMET?
Yes, however if you do not have a helmet, loaner helmets will be available for you to use during your ride. If you'd like to wear your own helmet, it must be a SNELL SA2010 rated or newer helmet.
HOW MANY TIMES DO I GET TO GO ON TRACK?
Once. Each Rage Buggy ride-along consists of one (1) lap around the VIRginia International Raceway Rally Course. The ride will last approximately XXXX? minutes.
CAN I SIGN UP FOR MORE THAN ONE RIDE-ALONG?
Yes, you may sign up for more than one ride-along, in fact many do in order to experience the various models available for rides.
CAN I REQUEST A SPECIFIC DRIVER / BUGGY?
Unfortunately no. Due to the nature of the event, to ensure we stay on schedule, and give rides to everyone who signs up, we cannot guarantee which driver and/or buggy you will receive a ride from. When possible, we will try out best to accommodate you, but we simply can't promise it. We apologize for any inconvenience the may cause you, but assure you that all drivers are professionals, equally talented, and that you will have the utmost fun in any of their buggies.
CAN I USE MY PHONE / GOPRO TO RECORD THE RIDE?
Yes, however we ask that you do so with some hesitation. As much as you want to relive the excitement of the ride and show your friends later on, if you're too busy focusing on what you are recording, you will most likely end up missing the actual live experience of the ride.
After all that, if you still want to record your ride, we recommend that you have your phone or camera tethered with a leash or strap to ensure you don't drop it. Phones and cameras rarely escape the track in the same condition as when they left your hand. Also, selfie sticks are not allowed and we require that you keep your hands in the car at all times and do not block the driver's view while filming.
IS THERE A MAP OF VIR AVAILABLE?
Yes, you may find it here.
While we prefer warm and sunny days, it doesn't always happen to work out that way. Since the event is in May, showers have been known to make a brief appearance. Because HyperFEST is an outdoor event, we run rain or shine, but that doesn't mean you still can't have fun.
